Reflection: Hope Pokes Through

In the Christian season of Lent and the Northern Hemisphere season of winter, hope has a way of poking through. When the world seems barren of life, we know this is not true. Just as God continually moves through the world as Spirit, Creation still constantly teems around us, within us, and as us. Here at Walter Scott, the vibrant greens returning to the landscape and the buds on trees are those thin spots where new hope is poking through. Today, look for the visible signs of invisible hope. In it may we find resilience and the eternal promise that even in dark days, we never are alone.
