Throughout the history of CCIW’s Outdoor Ministries, the safety and well-being of our campers have been of utmost concern. To assure this, policies are in place regarding qualifications for staff members as background checks are conducted annually. Valuing our campers, we also value the gifts and talents of those who volunteer to serve with our campers. In keeping with this, we welcome the gifts of all regardless of race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, age, or disability.
Kids, Youth and Young Adult Camps
You and Me is a wonder-filled time where kids get to experience the love of God through God’s Creation, the curriculum, the songs, the crafts, the games, and of course the adult(s) with whom they’re attending!

Family Camps
Memorial Day Family camp is a time for being with friends, family, and God’s Creation. The structure is much looser than our other camp offerings and is a wonderful time to bring out the entire family to Camp Walter Scott! This camp begins Thursday, May 25, 2023 and runs through Monday, May 29, 2023.
Labor Day Family camp is a time for being with friends, family, and God’s Creation. The structure is much looser than our other camp offerings and is a wonderful time to bring out the entire family to Camp Walter Scott! This camp begins Thursday, August 31, 2023 and runs through Monday, September 4, 2023.
Service Camps
The Camp Service Week or Handyperson Skills Camp is a week of working on projects at the campground. These vary from year to year and depend on what has been accomplished at previous workdays, but you can expect a need for electrical, plumbing, painting, and general handyperson skills. If you don’t possess these skills, this is a great opportunity for you to bring your willing attitude and let someone who is experienced in these areas help show you the ropes! This year the camp will run from 4PM on Sunday, June 4 through 10AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
