In Genesis, we find God naming Creation as good, all of it, including us people too. It might be hard to find Creation under the layers of frost, snow, and ice this time of year, but it is still there. Underneath the quilts of frozen water, most of Creation rests and waits. It isn’t moving, hustling, working, nor building, it is in a season of resting. And as it is resting, it remains good. Neither you nor Creation are defined by your work. Your existence is good. Take a few minutes today to be; no working, no moving, no hustling, no building. Know that you are good, simply by being.
