Advance your expertise and leadership on Creation Care with this free, comprehensive, and guided training. This program is presented through the Walter Scott Camp & Learning Center virtually and open to all.
During the time together we will follow a curriculum created specifically for the Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) through a partnership of Green Chalice and Blessed Tomorrow.
This course is your gateway to gaining essential knowledge, practical experience, and the tools you need to effectively communicate on climate change and take meaningful climate action—starting right where you are.
This course includes 6 engaging video modules, approximately 2 hours of content, 3 short quizzes, and 1 writing exercise to help you master the art of climate communication.
This isn’t just about learning; it’s about doing. By the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Understand the Blessed Tomorrow Climate Ambassadors Program, its goals, and the role of people of faith in driving climate action.
- Connect climate change to faith by identifying its impacts on Creation and the issues we care about.
- Implement climate solutions in your home, place of worship, and greater community to promote sustainability and reduce emissions.
- Communicate effectively on climate and faith using evidence-based strategies.
- Mobilize your community for climate action, leading by example and inspiring others to join the movement.
Our time together will be hosted by Rev. Clayton Summers and is presented through the Walter Scott Camp & Learning Center.
