“We don’t have to fall into the same category to be of equal value” (Chambers). Often we seem to forget that things do not need to be similar to be of inherent worth and value. The shoots of plants germinated from seed, the leaves gracing the ground in their splendor, and the life that piggy-backs in a hollow of a tree are all of equal worth in their unique niches and ways. Today you are invited to find worth in yourself, others, and the rest of God’s Creation. We all have worth and when any of us are devalued, we all are devalued.
Chambers, Becky. A Psalm for the Wild-Built.
