The beavers at Walter Scott continue to remain active as they refresh their lodge and stock their feed pile for winter. When we checked in, signs indicated they were active as recently as a few hours before we were there!
Did you know that beavers are herbivores, only eating plants – no fish? As a keystone species, they create habitat for others wildlife and increase biodiversity, an important part of stewarding God’s Creation. We at Walter Scott give thanks to beavers for the ways they help us understand our place in and as Creation.
