“Our connection to nature isn’t a luxury, it is who we are” (Dana, Research Road #64). Humanity is not separate from Creation but a thread whose own brilliance is magnified by the tapestry into which we are woven. Dry moss can multiply its own mass forty times with the addition of water and praying mantises know the seasons and change their camouflage with the changes in temperatures, humidity, and the lengths of days. When closely examined, the other threads around us direct our awe towards our mutual Creator but also give us the opportunity to pause to find our own brilliance as well. Find time today in Creation to see its brilliance as individual and woven threads, and then find a mirror to find your brilliance and that of your community as well.
