Last week Walter Scott pulled double duty! Another year of a bi-annual family fishing trip took place on our grounds while our Resident Minister attended the IL-WI-MI Disciples Regional Assembly in Tinley Park. During the assembly we were able to pass out a lot of information about Walter Scott, see a ton of y’all, and build new relationships too. We also had the delight of electing our next Regional Minister & President, the Rev. Dr. William E Crowder Jr.! We’re excited for the ways he will lead our Region and the ways we will journey together in caring for all of God’s Creation, human and more-than-human alike.
