History Corner:
We are grateful to Rev. Dr. Judy Ridlen for sharing this groundbreaking celebration bulletin with us from October 26, 1975*! This was a joy filled celebration of the way God was moving in this place and one that holds true for our hopes for this Holy Ground and its impact nearly 50 years later. Take a look through and see where some of the dreams for facilities came to be and where some were reimagined. We are grateful for the saints, both living and passed, who made this place an image of God’s radical love and hospitality we know best in Christ Jesus.
*This groundbreaking ceremony was on several new facilities being constructed including the manger’s residence, but the grounds originally were purchased by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Illinois-Wisconsin in January of 1962.
