Please note these summer camp programs will abide by our Covid-19 policies.

All registration options can be found by scrolling down to the bottom of this page.

Throughout the history of CCIW’s Outdoor Ministries, the safety and well-being of our campers have been of utmost concern. To assure this, policies are in place regarding qualifications for staff members as background checks are conducted annually. Valuing our campers, we also value the gifts and talents of those who volunteer to serve with our campers. In keeping with this, we welcome the gifts of all regardless of race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, age, or disability.

Kids, Youth and Young Adult Camps

Grandparents and Me is a wonder-filled time where kids get to experience the love of God through God’s Creation, the curriculum, the songs, the crafts, the games, and of course the grandparent(s) with whom they’re attending!

The camp is open to K-5th children and a grandparent or someone like a grandparent chosen by the parents/guardians (if two grandparents or grandparent-like adults want to bring a child, we welcome this too!) Camp begins at 4:00PM on June 26, 2022 and runs through 10:00AM on June 29, 2022. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Beginners camp is a great way to start out a child’s life-long love of summer camps and the outdoors. It is staffed by dedicated, fun, helpful, and compassionate counselors and staff who make the love of God real in each of the camper’s lives and experiences at camp.

Beginners is open to K-3rd children who have just completed one of these grades (3rd graders can also register for JYF camp). Camp begins at 6:00PM on July 29, 2022 and runs through 1:00PM on July 31, 2022. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

JYF camp is a week where kids make friendships that will last a lifetime, get to know God’s radical love better in their lives, and are constantly supported by fun, caring, and attentive counselors. It is a week of growth and opportunity for all who attend.

JYF is open to 3rd-5th children who have just completed one of these grades (3rd graders can also register for Beginners camp). Camp begins at 4:00PM on July 17, 2022 and runs through 10:00AM on July 23, 2022. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Chi-Rho camp is a week where youth are able to come out of their shells while seeing old friends and making new ones. They will experience God’s love in the beautiful natural setting, play games, participate in worship, do crafts, and belong to a family of both their peers and loving counselors.

Chi-Rho is open to 6-8th youth who have just completed one of these grades. Camp begins at 4:00PM on July 10, 2022 and runs through 10:00AM on July 16, 2022. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

CYF camp is a time for youth to not only experience God’s love but to explore who God created them to be. Through games, crafts, family groups, talent shows, directors time, worship, and so much more – they live a week in the possibility of God’s Realm.

CYF is open to 9-12th youth who have just completed one of these grades. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Post High is a time for young adults to gather together for a weekend, relax, and refresh themselves at Walter Scott while exploring their faith in a natural setting. The camp runs from 5:00PM on Friday, August 5th through 12:00PM on Sunday, August 7th. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Family Camps

Memorial Day Family camp is a time for being with friends, family, and God’s Creation. The structure is much looser than our other camp offerings and is a wonderful time to bring out the entire family to Camp Walter Scott! This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Labor Day Family camp is a time for being with friends, family, and God’s Creation. The structure is much looser than our other camp offerings and is a wonderful time to bring out the entire family to Camp Walter Scott! This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.

Service Camps

The Camp Acts service week camp is a week of working on projects at the campground. These vary from year to year and depend on what has been accomplished at previous workdays, but you can expect a need for electrical, plumbing, painting, and general handy-person skills. If you don’t possess these skills, this is a great opportunity for you to bring your willing attitude and let someone who is experienced in these areas help show you the ropes! Groups and individuals who are interested in coming for all or part of the week should contact our Camp Host, Clayton Summers. This camp has already occurred for the 2022 camping season.
